EUROVELO 5 - VIA ROMEA

EuroVelo 5 - Via Romea - Sarreguemines >> Huningue

From London to Rome, then Brindisi Goethe would have asserted that European awareness was born from pilgrimages. More than a thousand years ago, Sigeric, just appointed Archbishop of Canterbury, travelled to Rome on foot to receive the 'pallium', emblem of his episcopal responsibility, from the hands of the Pope. Follow in his footsteps by taking the bicycle version of his journey.
