Saint Stephen's Church in Schnersheim is illuminated by the magnificent multicoloured stained glass windows created in 1954-55 and 1971 by Master Glassmaker Jacques Le Chevallier (1896-1987). He made stained glass windows in La Roche-Posay, Bourg-en-Bresse, Granville, some of the cathedrals of Notre-Dame de Paris, Angers, Beauvais, Besançon, Toulouse, Laon, Soissons, made the stained glass windows of the Basilica of Echternach, of the tribune of the cathedral of Luxembourg, of Notre-Dame de Trèves (Liebenfraukirche), compared to a "real tapestry"...
