MTB breaks in the Alsatian Jura - Ferrette et le Jura alsacien

A weekend of mountain biking (2 days/1 night) to discover a little mysterious land of a thousand lakes located in the extreme south of Alsace: Sundgau. A land of tales and legends,  Sundgau is ideal for mountain biking. For experienced mountain bikers, the Alsatian Jura range offers the most sporting circuits, including beautiful ascents through varied landscapes. Conversely, the valleys of the Largue and the Ill River are criss-crossed with routes that are more accessible and therefore more suitable for families.

Accommodated in small family hotels of your choice that you will cook you local dishes, we offer a cycling weekend to get away from it all... including both discovery and gastronomy in the heart of unspoilt nature.

Upon arrival, complete topoguides allow you to choose between 33 mountain bike trails and thus discover Sundgau via roads and charming marked paths that will take you without much difficulty from one end to the other of this small piece of land far from the usual frenzy and agitation of everyday life. Sundgau opens its doors to you. It's up to you to enter.

The package includes:

- A welcome cocktail
- 1 night in a double room with half board (single supplement)
- Gourmet dinner (three course menu),
- Adventurer's breakfast
- Mountain bike topoguide with a choice of 33 routes provided on arrival
- A Sundgau mountain bike area map provided on arrival

Optional:
- Picnic lunch
- Both mountain bike rides with a guide

Day #1: Arrival during the morning for a reception at the hotel-restaurant of your choice. Depending on the accommodation chosen, there is a range of mountain bike trails to choose from as outlined in the topoguide, and a MTB map is provided on arrival

Day #2: departure for the second ride chosen

Departure: depending on the accommodation chosen, you will be able to leave directly from your accommodation. The mountain bike network ensures the proximity of departure from any accommodation.

Distance: the MTB tours presented in the materials provided on arrival involve varying degrees of difficulty ranging from 10 to 42 km. These circuits are signposted and labelled by the French Cycling Federation.

Optional guide: the advantage of being accompanied by guides lies mainly in their ability to offer you a circuit suited to your needs. Knowledgable about all pleasant, fun (or even technical) paths, our guide will share his considerable knowledge of the history, heritage and natural resources of the Sundgau area (minimum of four persons).
