BL184 - A ride on both sides of the river - Strasbourg

This itinerary offers a number of architectural curiosities telling the story of how this area developed. From Strasbourg to Kehl, you will discover a cross-border region with a rich, shared history and a flora and fauna that flourish with the close proximity of the Rhine. Leave from Place de l’Etoile and go towards La Meinau district along the cycle path. At the end of Parc de l’Etoile, turn right and take Rue Thumenau and follow the cycle path along the tram line. Continue straight on for 1.25 km. At the crossroads of Route de la Fédération and Avenue de Colmar, turn left towards Rue Marie Montessori. Cycle past La Meinau Stadium and follow the signs to “Neuhof-Centre” then “Parc Schulmeister”. Next follow the signs indicating “Stockfeld-Cité Jardins” then “Oberjaergerhof” for 5 km. At Oberjaegerhof, take the cycle path towards Offenburg for 3.5 km to Pflimlin Bridge. Cross the bridge and… Welcome to Germany! Follow EV15 for around 10 km to Kehl. Cross over the Two-Shores footbridge and continue towards the park. When you get to the end of the park, take the cycle path and follow the signs indicating “Strasbourg Centre” then “Parc de l’Etoile”.
