The Rhine Dam and Locks at Kembs - Kembs

"Hydroelectric power station and large locks - Kembs Built between 1928 and 1932, this was the first hydroelectric power station built on the Franco-German Rhine. The Kembs dam now supplies the Grand Canal d'Alsace. It regulates the flow of the Rhine and maintains a virtually constant water level in the Grand Canal d’Alsace. "
