" The Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt is a real place to live, run by passionate volunteers who are keen to share Alsatian folk culture and traditions from the early 20th century. A must-see in Northern Alsace! "
Live, vibrate for folk arts and traditions! Un centre d’interprétation du patrimoine est un lieu vivant, interactif et ouvert à tous, qui invite petits et grands à la découverte d’un patrimoine et d’un territoire. The one in Kutzenhausen is dedicated to Alsatian folk arts and traditions and to rural life at the beginning of the 20th century. The animations, exhibitions and workshops proposed throughout the year by the Friends of the Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt allow this immersion in the past while laying the foundations for a better understanding of our daily life and our future.
