Thur Valley cycle route

Along the water, you will discover the secrets of water power and the industrial development of the Thur valley. Educational panels take you back to the time when the Thur was lined with mills: paper mills, flour mills, oil mills, etc. The route leads to the Kruth-Wildenstein lake, the largest reservoir in the Vosges massif, which is a beautiful leisure centre overlooked by the ruins of the Schlossberg. From Thann, the southern gateway to the Alsace Wine Route, you can easily reach the Wesserling Park, the Textile Eco-Museum and its gardens on the Thurtal cycle path before taking a well-deserved break at Lake Kruth.
